ZAMBIAN BREWERIES CHEERS NATIONAL ATHLETES FOR PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Zambian Breweries today expressed its unwavering support for the Zambian athletes competing in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The company emphasised its commitment to fostering a culture of celebration and sportsmanship, not just within Zambia, but on the global stage.
Through its iconic Mosi premium lager brand, Zambian Breweries has demonstrated continued dedication to Zambian sport by joining forces with the National Olympic Committee of Zambia. This partnership will provide a sponsorship package valued at K100,000 to cover essential needs for the athletes.
Speaking during the send-off ceremony of the national athletes, Permanent Secretary in Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, Kangwa Chileshe emphasised the importance of corporates joining hands with government to sports as it is a way of fostering national unity. He further, thanked Zambian Breweries for join the cheers with their sponsorship initiative.

“The beauty of sport is that it brings people together,” said Zambian Breweries Country Director Thais Cavinatto. “As we come together to celebrate and support our exceptional athletes on their journey to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, this marks a significant milestone for Zambia.”
National Olympic Committee of Zambia President, Alfred Foloko congratulated the athletes for their dedication, hard work and perseverance thus far. ” You are the pride of Zambia, and we have every confidence in your ability to represent our nation with distinction in Paris.”
Zambia will be represented at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in athletics, boxing, and women’s football. The company also highlighted promising prospects competing in judo, swimming, and the men’s 4x400m relay team who are currently striving for qualification at the Senior African Championship in Cameroon.
“We believe that our contribution will significantly assist these talented athletes in their efforts, ensuring their success and making Zambia proud at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games,” stated Thais Cavinatto. “Furthermore, we believe the positive impact of this sponsorship will resonate far and wide, inspiring the next generation of athletes.”
