PROFLIGHT INCREASES BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE FOR DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Proflight Zambia has announced a revision to its baggage policy for domestic flights, effective immediately. The new policy provides a 23kg free checked baggage allowance for all fare types.
The updated policy allows domestic passengers the benefit of a standard checked baggage allowance of 23kg at no extra cost, regardless of the fare type purchased. This also applies to passengers with existing tickets booked or purchased prior to the revision.
The Proflight international checked baggage allowance of 30kg still applies to passengers holding a ticket with both Proflight international and Proflight domestic flights.
Proflight uses a weight concept only, with no piece concept, so weight allowances are not limited to one bag and may be spread across a number of bags.
Baggage allowances may also be shared with family or friends booked with the same reservation reference, or with family under different reservation references so long as family surname matches.
Director of Flight Operations at Proflight Zambia, Captain Josias Walubita commented on the policy revision, saying: “We are committed to providing our passengers with the best possible travel experience. This revised baggage policy reflects our ongoing efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline our services.”
