Zambian Breweries 7th Annual Mosi Day of Thunder Music Festival headliners
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Mosi Day of Thunder (MDOT) music festival revellers get ready for the biggest one yet as Zambian Breweries announce the 7th edition of MDOT, set to rock Zambia’s tourist capital, at the Busiku Grounds in Livingstone on April 27, 2024.
This year’s festival, themed Thunder Together”, draws on the iconic Mosi Premium Lager’s vibe and uniting factors. MDOT has grown to be known and loved for its unique blend and celebration of local music, artists and highlight of the rich Zambian cultural heritage – a perfect combo for those seeking to press the refresh button as well as experience Zambian hospitality.
“Zambian music continues to break new ground both at home and on the international music scene and we are proud to support and promote this progression – this also being our 7th edition of the festival,” said Zambian Breweries Country Director Thais Cavinatto. “Mosi Day of Thunder embodies our commitment to bringing people together and inspiring them through music and arts – people from across Zambia, our neighbouring countries as well as international tourists.”
As per tradition, this year’s Mosi Day of Thunder stage will be lit up by iconic Zambian stars such as Vinchenzo, Dizmo, Neo Slayer, Mampi, Bobby East, Xaven, James Sakala, 76 drums, and Chef 187.
Renowned South African DJ Heavy K (Drumboss) will also grace the stage as the Guest artist, speaking to both the diverse, and international fan base that the music festival has garnered over the years.
The Mosi Day of Thunder festival, set against the backdrop of the majestic Mosi-oa-Tunya falls, has become an annual pilgrimage for music lovers across Africa, attracting a diverse audience of local, regional and international tourists. This year’s event promises to be an even more exciting celebration with the local tourist and food scenes beckoning.

As part of its commitment to promoting smart and responsible drinking, Zambian Breweries will be working closely with law enforcement agencies, including the Zambian Police, and the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) to ensure the safety and well- being of all festival goers throughout the event as people Thunder Together.
