ZAMBEEF APPOINTS MBOO MUMBA AS NEW CFO
LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Zambeef Products Plc has named Mboo Mumba as its new Chief Financial Officer with effect from December 1, 2022. He takes up the role of CFO following the appointment of Faith Mukutu – who previously served in the position- as Chief Executive Officer in July 2022.
Mr Mumba is also expected to join the Zambeef board as a director, subject to satisfactory completion of the required regulatory due diligence for the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market (AIM), where Zambeef is listed in addition to the Lusaka Stock Exchange.
Mr Mumba joined Zambeef Group in May 2020 as Project Manager before taking up the role of Group Head of Treasury and Administration.

An ACCA professional who holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree, Mr Mumba’s career portfolio includes a previous role as CFO of the Wildlife Conservation Society of Zambia before joining Standard Chartered Bank Zambia, where he served as a director in corporate banking.
