He thanked the nation’s largest brewer, Zambian Breweries, for its commitment to the promotion and development of football and sport in Zambia through various sports programmes such as the Pool Championship, Mosi Cup, and School’s Coca-Cola Cup for an unbroken 25 years.
The minister said the government’s manifesto aimed to turn Zambia into the most physically active nation in Africa: “A sports powerhouse and global leader in the use of sports as a tool for sustainable development.”
“At Zambian Breweries we dream big to create a future with more cheers of shared prosperity. We are passionate about creating and sharing superior value, and we believe that sport and particularly football is one such platform for empowering our youth,” said Zambian Breweries Marketing Director Sibajene Munkombwe.
