STELLA JOINS RICHARD BONA CONCERT




Zambian Breweries gets in on the act as decorated artist dates Lusaka

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA – Zambian Breweries through the Stella Artois brand has joined the growing list of big-name sponsors for the highly anticipated Richard Bona concert slated for March 26, 2022 in Lusaka.

Richard Bona is a Cameroon-born Grammy Award winning American musician famous for his unique sound born from a merger of his exceptional vocals and dazzling skill on the bass amp and bass guitar.

The multi-award-winning artist has amassed an impressive music catalogue over his illustrious career with high profile collaborations including John Legend and Quincy Jones.

Zambian Breweries Global Brands Marketing Manager Mwila Matoka said that Stella Artois was proud to be associated with one of the most accomplished and socially conscious international artist in Richard Bona adding that the brewery’s sponsorship of the concert was in line with the firm’s commitment to bringing people together for a better world.

She noted that: “Becoming a multi-award-winning artist is not easy. It takes time, practice, and a lot of sacrifice which Stella Artois knows all too well. Like Richard Bona, Stella Artois has invested an immeasurable amount of time to ensure that the final product is not only enjoyable but is worthy of international recognition.”

“Another aspect of the event is the way we are going to work closely with celebrated chefs to ensure that guests are treated to special meals infused with Stella Artois, a brand that has been in existence for over six hundred years.”

Richard will be supported by several Zambian artists including James Sakala, Abel Chungu Musuka and El Mukuka.

The event is being organised by Alliance Française with lead sponsorship by Total Energies Zambia and support from Zambian Breweries with Stella Artois as official beer sponsor; other sponsors include Coca-Cola, New Horizon Printing Press, Medland Hospital, Radio Phoenix, and host Ciela Bonanza Resort.
